We are proud to share that Dr. Darius-Jean Namdjou, Director and Senior Regulatory Lead at Phortas, participated in the General Assembly Meeting of ERDERA, held from 29–31 October 2025 at the Amsterdam University Medical Center (UMC).
ERDERA – the European Rare Diseases Research Alliance – is a European partnership that unites over 170 public and private organisations across 37 countries around a common goal: transforming cutting-edge science into tangible benefits for the thirty million Europeans living with a rare disease. Its work focuses particularly on improving rare disease diagnostics and translating research results into clinical development and ultimately into products that benefit patients.
Dr. Namdjou serves on ERDERA’s Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Board (MAB), which brings together independent experts from industry, academia, patient organisations, regulatory bodies, European Reference Networks (ERNs), health technology assessment (HTA) representatives, and ethicists.
The General Assembly meeting offered valuable insights into ERDERA’s accomplishments during its first year, as well as its goals and ambitions for the upcoming year.
It also provided an opportunity to discuss the ongoing activities and evolving needs of several of its working streams.
